Summary
CVE-2023-34130 is a critical vulnerability that affects SonicWall GMS (Global Management System) versions 9.3.2-SP1 and earlier, as well as SonicWall Analytics versions 2.5.0.4-R7 and earlier. The issue stems from the use of an outdated encryption algorithm called Tiny Encryption Algorithm (TEA) with a hardcoded key to encrypt sensitive data. This vulnerability poses a high risk to organizations as it allows attackers to potentially access and exploit confidential information.
