Summary

CVE-2023-34130 is a critical vulnerability that affects SonicWall GMS (Global Management System) versions 9.3.2-SP1 and earlier, as well as SonicWall Analytics versions 2.5.0.4-R7 and earlier. The issue stems from the use of an outdated encryption algorithm called Tiny Encryption Algorithm (TEA) with a hardcoded key to encrypt sensitive data. This vulnerability poses a high risk to organizations as it allows attackers to potentially access and exploit confidential information. To remediate this vulnerability, affected organizations should update their SonicWall GMS and Analytics versions to the latest available releases that address this issue.
