Summary

CVE-2023-3411 is aCross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Image Map Pro – Drag-and-drop Builder for Interactive Images – Lite plugin for WordPress. Versions up to 1.0.0 are susceptible to this issue. The root cause is the lack of nonce validation on the ajax_store_save() function, which allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate plugin settings and introduce malicious web scripts through a forged request. Successful exploitation of this flaw requires tricking a site administrator into taking a specific action, such as clicking on a maliciously crafted link.
