Summary
CVE-2023-3411 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Image Map Pro – Drag-and-drop Builder for Interactive Images – Lite plugin for WordPress. Version 1.0.0 and earlier are susceptible to this issue. The vulnerability arises due to the absence of nonce validation on the ajax_store_save() function, which allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate plugin settings and introduce malicious web scripts. They can exploit this flaw by tricking a site administrator into performing a specific action, such as clicking on a malicious link, and taking advantage of the granted privilege to execute their malicious code.
