Summary
CVE-2023-34098 is a vulnerability affecting Shopware, an open-source e-commerce software. Due to an incorrect configuration in the `.htaccess` file, the `themes/package-lock.json` file, which contains specific Shopware version information, can be read in production environments. An attacker could use this information to determine the vulnerable Shopware version and potentially launch further attacks. Shopowners are advised to update to the latest version, 5.7.18, to mitigate this risk. No known workarounds are available for this vulnerability.
