Summary

CVE-2023-33991 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (Stored XSS) vulnerability in SAP UI5 Variant Management. This vulnerability affects versions SAP_UI 750, SAP_UI 754, SAP_UI 755, SAP_UI 756, SAP_UI 757, and UI_700 200. The vulnerability occurs due to insufficient encoding of user-controlled inputs when reading data from the server. If successfully exploited, an attacker with user-level access can have a significant impact on confidentiality, modify information, and cause unavailability of the application at the user level. The vulnerability has a high base severity score of 8.2 and poses a potential danger to organizations using the affected products.
