Summary
CVE-2023-3395 is a vulnerability affecting all versions of the TWinSoft Configuration Tool. This issue arises from the tool storing encrypted passwords in plaintext form in memory. An attacker with access to system files can exploit this weakness by opening a document file and loading it into memory. Once loaded, the attacker can use a memory viewer to obtain the plaintext password associated with the document, compromising its security.
