Summary

CVE-2023-3350 is a cryptographic issue vulnerability found in IBERMATICA RPS version 2019. It allows an attacker to retrieve the SQL query sent to the application in plain text by downloading the log file. The log file contains password hashes coded with AES-CBC-128 bits algorithm, which can be decrypted using a .NET function, thereby exposing the username's password in plain text. The vulnerability has a high base severity rating and poses a potential danger to organizations as it allows unauthorized access to sensitive information. To remediate the vulnerability, it is recommended to update IBERMATICA RPS to a patched version that addresses this issue.
