Summary
CVE-2023-3343 is a vulnerability affecting the User Registration plugin for WordPress. This issue permits authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions or higher to inject PHP Objects through deserialization of untrusted input from the 'profile-pic-url' parameter. No Pop chain is present in the vulnerable plugin, but if one exists via an additional plugin or theme, attackers could potentially delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code. This flaw puts WordPress installations utilizing the User Registration plugin version 3.0.1 and below at risk.
