Summary

CVE-2023-3343 is a vulnerability in the User Registration plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 3.0.1. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions and above to inject a PHP Object through the 'profile-pic-url' parameter, leading to PHP Object Injection. This vulnerability does not have a POP chain in the affected plugin, but if there is a POP chain present via an additional plugin or theme on the target system, it could result in the deletion of arbitrary files, retrieval of sensitive data, or code execution. The vulnerability has a high severity rating and poses a potential danger to organizations using the affected WordPress plugin versions.
