Summary
CVE-2023-3329 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting SpiderControl SCADA Webserver versions 2.08 and below. This issue allows an attacker with administrative privileges to perform a path traversal attack, manipulating the HMI's upload file feature to overwrite files on the webserver. The potential consequences are significant, as attackers can create size zero files anywhere on the webserver, risking the overwriting of critical system files and causing a denial-of-service condition.
