Summary
CVE-2023-33082 is a memory corruption vulnerability that can be triggered when processing an Assoc Request or Assoc Response containing Multicast Bootstrap Message (MBO) Information Element (IE) in the Bluetooth Tethering Protocol. This issue can lead to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the affected application, posing a significant security risk for Bluetooth-enabled devices. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted Assoc Requests or Responses to target devices, potentially gaining unauthorized access or control.
