Summary
CVE-2023-32616 is a use-after-free vulnerability affecting Foxit Reader 12.1.2.15356. Maliciously crafted 3D annotations in PDF documents can cause the software to reuse previously freed objects, resulting in memory corruption. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by tricking users into opening a malicious file or visiting a specially crafted, malicious website if the browser plugin extension is enabled. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
