Summary

CVE-2023-32439 is a type confusion vulnerability that affects multiple Apple products including iOS, iPadOS, macOS Ventura, and Safari. The issue has been fixed in versions iOS 16.5.1 and iPadOS 16.5.1, iOS 15.7.7 and iPadOS 15.7.7, and macOS Ventura 13.4.1, as well as Safari 16.5.1. Exploiting this vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution when processing maliciously crafted web content, posing a high risk to organizations. Apple has acknowledged reports that this vulnerability may have been actively exploited. The vulnerability has a base score of 8.8 (high severity) according to the National Vulnerability Database (NVD).
