Summary
CVE-2023-3225 is a vulnerability affecting the Float menu plugin for WordPress before version 5.0.3. Despite the disallowing of the unfiltered_html capability, this issue fails to sanitize and escape certain settings, making it susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. High privilege users, including administrators, can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into a website, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data theft. This flaw poses a significant risk, particularly in multisite setups.
