Summary

CVE-2023-3202 is a vulnerability found in the MStore API plugin for WordPress. The vulnerability allows for Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) due to missing nonce validation on the mstore_update_firebase_server_key function. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability by tricking a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link, which grants them the ability to update the firebase server key and push notifications when the order status changes. The vulnerability affects multiple products and can be remediated by implementing proper nonce validation on the affected function. The potential danger of this vulnerability lies in attackers being able to manipulate notifications and potentially disrupt or compromise the affected organization's systems or user experience.
