Summary
CVE-2023-31998 is a newly discovered heap overflow vulnerability that affects EdgeRouters and Aircubes. This issue permits malicious actors to disrupt the UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) service on these devices by overflowing the heap memory. Successful exploitation could lead to denial-of-service conditions, compromising network availability and potentially posing a risk to connected devices.
