Summary

CVE-2023-3167 is a vulnerability affecting the Mail Queue plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 1.1. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, which allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages. This can result in the execution of these scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerability has a base score of 6.1 (medium severity) according to NIST, and a base score of 7.2 (high severity) according to Wordfence, indicating the potential danger it poses to organizations using the affected plugin.
