CVE-2023-31582

Summary

CVE-2023-31582 is a vulnerability affecting the jose4j library before version 0.9.3. This issue permits attackers to set a iterations count of 1000 or fewer during RSA key pair generation. This can result in weaker encryption keys and increased risk of successful man-in-the-middle attacks, undermining the security of communication channels that rely on jose4j for encryption.
