Summary
CVE-2023-31302 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability discovered in Sesami Cash Point & Transport Optimizer (CPTO) version 6.3.8.6 (#718). This issue permits remote attackers to inject and execute malicious code in the Teller field, potentially leading to unauthorized account access or data theft. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by crafting malicious scripts that are executed when an unsuspecting user visits a specially crafted webpage. Organizations using this version of Sesami CPTO are strongly advised to update to a patched version to mitigate this risk.
