Summary
CVE-2023-31221 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting version 1.0.0 of the Ransom Christofferson PDQ CSV plugin for admin users. An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious scripts into a website, which are then stored and executed whenever the affected page is accessed by an unwitting user. This can lead to unauthorized account takeover, data theft, or other malicious activities. Users are strongly advised to update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
