Summary

CVE-2023-3115 is a vulnerability affecting all versions of GitLab EE from 11.11 to 16.2.8, 16.3 to 16.3.5, and 16.4 to 16.4.1, where Single Sign On restrictions were not correctly enforced for indirect project members accessing public members-only project repositories. The affected products include various versions of GitLab EE and related software components. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update their GitLab EE installations to version 16.2.8, 16.3.5, or 16.4.1 or later. This vulnerability poses a potential danger to organizations as it could allow unauthorized access to public members-only project repositories by indirect project members with Single Sign On restrictions not being properly enforced.
