Summary
CVE-2023-30987 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows versions 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted query to certain databases, leading to a server crash and subsequent denial of service. IBM's X-Force has assigned ID 253440 to this vulnerability. Organizations using these Db2 versions are advised to apply the available patch or workaround to mitigate this risk.
