Summary
CVE-2023-30954 is a newly discovered race condition vulnerability affecting the Gotham video-application-server. This issue arises when the server does not apply certain access control lists (ACLs) to new videos if the source system has not yet initialized. As a result, unauthorized users may gain access to videos they should not have been able to view or modify. The vulnerability could lead to serious data breaches or unintended modifications of video content. It is strongly recommended that affected organizations apply the necessary patches as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
