Summary

CVE-2023-30709 is a new vulnerability affecting Dual Messenger, a messaging application. This issue involves improper access control, which enables local attackers to launch activities with system privileges. Prior to the Sep-2023 Release 1 of the Security Maintenance Release (SMR), an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain unauthorized high-level access within the application.
