Summary
CVE-2023-2990 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Fortra Globalscape EFT versions prior to 8.1.0.16. This vulnerability occurs when a compressed message decompresses to itself, causing infinite recursion and crashing the service. It has a high severity rating and an exploitability score of 3.9, posing a potential danger to affected organizations.
