Summary
CVE-2023-29074 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting Autodesk AutoCAD 2023 and 2024. A specially crafted CATPART file can trigger an Out-Of-Bounds Write, allowing a malicious actor to cause a crash, read sensitive data, or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to users who open untrusted CATPART files, and it is recommended that AutoCAD users update to the latest patch to mitigate this threat.
