Summary
CVE-2023-28871 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Support Assistant component in NCP Secure Enterprise Client versions prior to 12.22. This issue permits attackers to create symbolic links, which in turn allows them to read sensitive registry information on the targeted system. The vulnerability poses a potential risk to system confidentiality and should be addressed promptly by applying the available patch or upgrade.
