Summary

CVE-2023-28741 is a buffer overflow vulnerability in some Intel(R) QAT drivers for Windows - HW Version 1.0 before version 1.10. It affects the products tlbVgG, tlbVgH, tlbVgE, tlbVgF, tlbVgD, and tlbVgI. An authenticated user with local access may exploit this vulnerability to potentially escalate privileges. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of HIGH with a base score of 7.8 according to [email protected]. It poses a high risk to organizations as it could lead to unauthorized privilege escalation and compromise the integrity and confidentiality of the system.
