Summary
CVE-2023-2847 is a local privilege escalation vulnerability that was discovered during internal security analysis. With the affected ESET product installed on a machine, a user with lower privileges could execute actions with root privileges due to improper privilege management. ESET has released new builds of its products that no longer contain this vulnerability, mitigating the risk for affected users.
