Summary

CVE-2023-28365 is a backup file vulnerability found in UniFi applications (Version 7.3.83 and earlier) running on Linux operating systems. This vulnerability allows application administrators to execute malicious commands on the host device being restored. The affected products include UniFi applications (Version 7.3.83 and earlier) running on Linux operating systems. To remediate this vulnerability, it is recommended to update the UniFi application to a version later than 7.3.83. This vulnerability poses a high danger to organizations as it allows an attacker with high privileges to execute arbitrary commands on the host device, potentially leading to compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the system.
