Summary

CVE-2023-2827: Unvalidated JSON Web Tokens in SAP Plant Connectivity and Production Connector for SAP Digital Manufacturing A vulnerability affecting SAP Plant Connectivity version 15.5 (PCo) and the Production Connector for SAP Digital Manufacturing version 1.0 has been identified (CVE-2023-2827). The issue lies in the lack of signature validation for the JSON Web Tokens (JWT) in the HTTP requests coming from SAP Digital Manufacturing. This oversight enables unauthorized internal callers to send malicious service requests to PCo or the Production Connector, potentially threatening the integrity of the integration between the systems.
