Summary
CVE-2023-2788: Mattermost inadvertently allows admin users with deactivated accounts to maintain persistent access through OAuth2 tokens. During an OAuth2 flow, Mattermost fails to verify if the admin account is active, enabling attackers to obtain tokens even when their accounts are disabled. This vulnerability could potentially grant unauthorized access and control to the affected instance.
