CVE-2023-27869 is a vulnerability affecting IBM Db2 JDBC Driver for Db2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows versions 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5. This vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system through an unchecked logger injection. By exploiting this vulnerability using a specially crafted request with the named traceFile property, an attacker can execute arbitrary code on the system. The severity of this vulnerability is rated as high, with a base score of 8.8 according to NIST's National Vulnerability Database (NVD).
