Summary
CVE-2023-2673 is an Input Validation vulnerability affecting PHOENIX CONTACT's FL/TC MGUARD Family in various versions. This issue enables UDP packets to bypass filter rules, exposing devices solely connected to the MGUARD. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to launch flooding attacks against the targeted device. This weakness arises due to insufficient validation of user inputs, potentially leading to unintended network access.
