Summary
CVE-2023-26450 is a vulnerability affecting the "OX Count" web service, which fails to specify a media-type when processing responses from external resources. This omission allows for the execution of malicious script code within the victim's context. Potential consequences of this vulnerability include session hijacking and triggering unwanted actions via the web interface and API. An attacker would need either temporary access to the user's account or the ability to lure a user to a compromised account to exploit this weakness. The vulnerability is currently being addressed by defining an accepted media-type to prevent code execution. No publicly available exploits have been reported at this time.
