Summary
The vulnerability with the CVE ID name CVE-2023-2600 affects the Custom Base Terms WordPress plugin before version 1.0.3. It allows high-privilege users, such as admin, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed, including in a multisite setup. The vulnerability arises due to the plugin's failure to properly sanitize and escape certain settings. Organizations can remediate this vulnerability by updating to version 1.0.3 or later of the Custom Base Terms plugin.
