Summary
CVE-2023-2585 is a vulnerability affecting Keycloak's device authorization grant. The issue permits an attacker client to bypass validations for device code and client ID. By exploiting this weakness, an attacker can create a false client consent request, potentially tricking an authorization admin into approving access to a malicious OAuth client or granting unauthorized access to an existing one. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to the security of OAuth implementations using Keycloak.
