Summary
CVE-2023-25122 is a critical buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the vtysh_ubus binary in Milesight UR32L v32.3.0.5. The issue arises from the use of an unsafe sprintf pattern, which can be exploited through a specially crafted HTTP request. This vulnerability grants attackers with high privileges the ability to execute arbitrary code. The set_openvpn_client function is particularly vulnerable, with old_remote_subnet and old_remote_mask variables being the culprits. This issue can pose a significant security risk if not addressed promptly.
