CVE-2023-25111 is a critical buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the vtysh_ubus binary in Milesight UR32L v32.3.0.5. The issue arises due to the use of an unsafe sprintf function, which allows a maliciously crafted HTTP request to overwrite memory and execute arbitrary code. This vulnerability exists in the set_gre function, where a key variable is being processed. An attacker with high privileges can exploit this flaw to gain unauthorized access to the system.
