CVE-2023-25085 is a vulnerability that affects the Milesight UR32L v32.3.0.5 product. It is caused by multiple buffer overflow vulnerabilities in the vtysh_ubus binary due to the use of an unsafe sprintf pattern. An attacker with high privileges can exploit these vulnerabilities by sending a specially crafted HTTP request, leading to arbitrary code execution. The buffer overflow occurs in the firewall_handler_set function with the index and to_dst variables. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of HIGH and poses a potential danger to organizations as it can result in unauthorized code execution, compromising the integrity and confidentiality of the affected system.
