Summary
CVE-2023-24850 is a newly disclosed memory corruption vulnerability affecting the HLOS (Hardware Security Module's Host Operating System) during the import process of a cryptographic key into the KeyMaster Trusted Application. The flaw allows an attacker with local access to the system to manipulate the memory of the affected component, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or denial-of-service conditions. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can compromise the security of the entire system and threaten data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
