Summary
CVE-2023-24474 is a newly disclosed vulnerability that poses a denial-of-service (DoS) threat to Experion servers. This issue arises due to a heap overflow vulnerability, which can be triggered by a specially crafted message. The server's memory management system fails to allocate sufficient resources, leading to an overflow condition. Consequently, the server becomes unresponsive, causing a DoS condition. Organizations utilizing Experion servers are advised to apply the appropriate security patches to mitigate this risk.
