Summary
CVE-2023-2433 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the YARPP plugin for WordPress. This issue, which exists in versions up to and including 5.30.3, allows contributor-level attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the 'className' parameter. Successful exploitation enables the attacker to execute malicious scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
