Summary
CVE-2023-2423 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting Rockwell Automation's Armor PowerFlex device. The issue arises when the product processes network communications that result in excessive event log traffic. Malicious actors could potentially trigger this condition by flooding the device with network commands, leading to a denial-of-service (DoS) scenario. Consequently, the device stops normal operations and resets itself to clear the error code before reinitiating functions.
