Summary
CVE-2023-23349 is a security issue in Kaspersky Password Manager (KPM) for Windows. The vulnerability allows a local user to retrieve auto-filled credentials from a memory dump when the KPM extension for Google Chrome is used. To exploit the issue, an attacker needs to deceive a user into visiting a login form of a website with saved credentials, and the KPM extension must automatically fill in these credentials. The attacker then utilizes a malware module to steal the specific credentials. The risk score of this vulnerability is 5, with a base severity of low and confidentiality impact also being low.
