Summary
CVE-2023-22886 is an Improper Input Validation vulnerability affecting the Apache Software Foundation's Apache Airflow JDBC Provider. The issue lies in the lack of restrictions on the [Connection URL] parameter of the Airflow JDBC Provider Connection. This flaw enables attackers to execute Remote Code Execution (RCE) attacks using various JDBC drivers and gain airflow server permissions. This vulnerability impacts Apache Airflow JDBC Provider versions prior to 4.0.0.
