Summary
CVE-2023-22653 is an OS command injection vulnerability affecting the vtysh_ubus tcpdump_start_cb functionality in Milesight UR32L v32.3.0.5. A crafted HTTP request can exploit this flaw, allowing authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the system. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it can be triggered through a seemingly innocuous HTTP request. Network administrators are strongly advised to update their Milesight UR32L devices to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate this threat.
