Summary
CVE-2023-22524 is a remote code execution vulnerability that affects certain versions of the Atlassian Companion App for MacOS. An attacker could exploit this flaw by using WebSockets to bypass the app's blocklist and MacOS Gatekeeper, enabling the execution of malicious code. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to users as it allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access and control over the affected system.
