Summary

CVE-2023-22094 is a vulnerability in the MySQL Installer product of Oracle MySQL, affecting versions prior to 1.6.8. This vulnerability can be easily exploited by a low privileged attacker with login access to compromise the MySQL Installer system. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data, including the ability to create, delete, or modify data, as well as causing a hang or crash of the MySQL Installer. The vulnerability requires human interaction from someone other than the attacker and can potentially impact other products as well. A patch is available for this vulnerability, and it has a CVSS Base Score of 7.9 (Integrity and Availability impacts).
