Summary

CVE-2023-22066 is a vulnerability in the MySQL Server product of Oracle MySQL. The affected versions are 8.0.34 and prior, as well as 8.1.0. This vulnerability can be easily exploited by a high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols, allowing them to compromise the MySQL Server. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash, leading to a complete denial of service (DOS) for the server.
