Summary

CVE-2023-20262 is a vulnerability in the SSH service of Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager, affecting various products. It allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to crash the SSH process, resulting in a denial-of-service (DoS) condition for SSH access only. The vulnerability is caused by insufficient resource management during an error condition. To remediate the issue, Cisco recommends updating to a fixed software release. While this vulnerability does not impact web UI access or the overall functionality of the system, it poses a potential danger to organizations relying on SSH access for secure remote administration and communication.
