Summary
CVE-2023-20258 is a vulnerability affecting the web-based management interface of Cisco Prime Infrastructure. This issue allows authenticated, remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system. The vulnerability arises from the application's improper processing of serialized Java objects. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by uploading a malicious document containing the objects to be processed by the affected application. Successful exploitation could result in the execution of arbitrary commands.
